Vision is the central sense on which operators rely on when performing minimally invasive procedures. Therefore, augmenting the surgeon’s eye could enable safer and more precise procedures. This lecture gives an overview on the potential use of fluorescence to increase diagnostic yields, intraoperative staging, prevent complications and tailor surgical treatments.
